Biomass air heating for farm buildings
HELIX air heaters for agricultural buildings. The system is matched to the required indoor conditions and air exchange.
Indoor conditions define the task
Temperature, humidity and air movement requirements depend on the building use. For livestock facilities, the farm specialist defines these conditions for the animal type and age. They form part of the heating brief.
Heating works with ventilation
Maintaining temperature does not replace air exchange. Outdoor air supply, extraction and diffuser placement are considered. Heated-air delivery is coordinated with the facility’s ventilation specialist.
Seasonal operation and fuel
We assess the heating schedule, available biomass, storage and maintenance arrangements. Using one system for grain drying and space heating requires a separate design assessment of switching, connections and load requirements.
